It was this afternoon around 12pm when I walked into my office at work and heard the news about George Jones passing away.  It hit me very hard and instantly made me reflect on my moments with him.  I was very fortunate and honored to be asked to open for him twice back in 2007 and 2008 @ The Pepsi Roadhouse.  Meeting him backstage and talking with him are moments that I will never forget.  He was a sweet man in his late 70′s at the time and I was just getting my feet wet opening up for this national act.  I made friends with George’s band leader Kent Goodson and Walter Ferguson.  Kent and I wrote a song...
